Today is the second day of the beach volleyball tournament here in Stavanger. Too bad we did not go to the main volleyball court today to watch the men’s qualification match. However, right after my work I went to take a look at the ongoing match just a couple of blocks away from where I work. But it was not the guys but the girls who were playing in one of the courts along the quay.
Monday was the busiest day in Stavanger this week. There were 4 cruiseships at the ports (only took pictures of 2 of them). I heard that the biggest cruiseship has the capacity of 2000 plus passengers. So imagine the streets were almost packed with tourists. It’s good for the business but not all are happy about the cruiseships docking in Stavanger and the tourists (because of the noise and trash problems).
Have a great weekend everyone! 🙂
One of the things that make me preoccupied this week aside from work is this new sandbox game on Steam which is The Stomping Land. The goal of the game is simple. Survive. Sounds easy, right? Actually no. Because when you choose to play online, the other players can do whatever they want like join your tribe, kill you or worse, take you as a prisoner. So you better watch your back. But that is what players keep coming back for, the thrill and of course the dinosaurs (awesome).
Speaking of dinosaurs, after long hours of hiding and building a tribe, I finally caught my first dinosaur in the game. Thanks to mi amore for helping me out. Without his navigation skills I would not be able to find the herb that is required for healing dinosaurs.
I like the game. It has a concept similar to Minecraft but this one is more challenging because you can not save your game. Once you left the game, you lose all your stuff. There is also lag most of the time, so I hope they will fix that.
So happy to be a part of this wonderful event. My friends Mr and Mrs Sæle has finally tied the knot! The event is a success. Everything from the wedding preparation and to the wedding reception is just perfect.
Last weekend we were at my friend’s wedding and since the reception is a bit far from where I live, we’ve decided to rent a hotel room in Sandnes for one night. We could have also taken the cab home but the taxi fare would cost the same as the hotel room rate.
Anyway, the following day I showed my bf Sandnes Brygge since he had never been there before. From there we found a big group of swans.
This is not a lake but it is a small river leading to the sea. However upon seeing this, I couldn’t stop playing Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake in my head.
