For some of you who are following my Multiply site. You have probably noticed a huge number of cat pictures I have posted these past few years. As I’ve said in one of my post here, I am a cat person. Whenever I see one you will always hear me say “ohhhh… so cute”.
Anyway, let me introduce Pushy to you guys, again. She is my parents’ 11 year old cat. The youngest member of our family.

This video is the evidence that cats do care for their owners too. 🙂 The man who’s whistling in the video is my dad. We think that the cat’s licking him because it thought that my dad’s in pain.
I’m a sucker for online shops.
I think it is because I don’t have enough patience (lazy much?) to stroll in the shopping malls anymore and online shops has more product alternatives and cheaper price than at the mall. The negative part of online shopping is that you won’t be able to try/test the clothes/products first before you purchase it. So if you regret buying a shirt for example, then you gonna have to send it back to the seller (in most cases the buyer pays for the return shipping) or give it to someone else.
Anyway, last week, I was desperately craving for Hershey’s Kisses Chocolate. I could’ve just bought it here right away if the candy shops here in Norway are selling it but nope they’re not so I had to find a way to curb my cravings. So I ate some Toblerones and nei det hjalp ikke heller! Then suddenly, my fingers were just typing by itself on Ebay and after a second I found a shop which sells sweets in the United States. I felt lucky and really satisfied that time even though the Kisses are just in my screen and without a single hesitation, I ordered the Hershey’s party bag (1.13kg of Kisses) to myself. Thank God for the power of Internet!
My first week at school for this semester started well. I was really enthusiastic and motivated to learn new stuff, meet new people and to be challenged again. In fact I started reading for the exams in November! (psychooo me!) But seriously, I’m grabbing that opportunity to avoid so much stress before the exams.

However, sometimes we can’t avoid the obstacles that are tied up together with our perseverance. It is like God is testing our faith in a different way.
Last week, I had to get an immediate appointment with my doctor because I had some problems with my breathing and my tummy and I was already cold sweating because of panic. My doctor asked me what was wrong, so I explained everything, that it’s hard to breathe and etc. He listened to my breathing, felt my tummy and my neck. Then he concluded that I might have GERD (Gastroesophageal reflux disease/ acid reflux). He wrote out Lansoprazol for me and he said that I should come back to him after six weeks.

I’m taking this for 4 days now and I can say that it works. I’m so happy that I don’t have to worry about my breathing and my stomach anymore. Having GERD is not easy because the duration of medication is quite long and depressing, also the person who is suffering should practice self discipline. It means that I should avoid drinking sodas, coffee, alcoholic beverages and eating too much. Sounds boring but believe me or not I have done it for almost 2 weeks now and before I went to my doctor, so discipline is possible if you really want to achieve something.

I don’t know what they called this ship for, but all I know is that it has this “echo” technology used for finding oil in the ocean. After the research and getting the results, they would start digging for petrol.
Hello telephone? My hunny playing with the grandfather of cellphones today. 😀

So I made these rules for myself regarding what I should eat and what activities should I do.
- Buy and eat fruits instead of chips.
- Play with my Kinect games often, if possible.
- Eat dark chocolates instead of regular chocolates.
- Avoid sodas on weekdays.
- Make walking outside a habit.
- Eat a lot of salads.
- Drink lots of water.
- Drink lots of tea.
- Exercise regularly.
- Avoid too much salt.
A friend once told me that I don’t need to mind about my diet because I ain’t fat but then I told her that I just want to take care of my health. I think it is wise to do it now when I’m still young to avoid chronic illnesses in the future.
If you are wondering if I’m going to cut down fast food. Well my answer is no, but I’ll just lessen visiting Burger King or McDonalds. 🙂
