Even though I’m tired of Oslo, I still enjoyed my short stay there. I went to Oslo last weekend because of an appointment the following day. It went fine and got finished earlier than I expected so I went for a shopping spree at Karl Johansgata, took a cup of hot choco at Paleet, visited Outland at the Cenral Station and ate sushi at Sushi City before taking the train to Stavanger. 🙂

Best Western Bondeheimen Hotel is just a couple of blocks away from the Norwegian Royal Palace. I stayed here for a night last Sunday because I had an appointment with the embassy early Monday morning.
I booked a single room at Hotels.com but the Best Western gave me a double room instead for the same price. 🙂 So my exhaustion vanished in a snap(fyi I took the train all the way from Stavanger to Oslo last Sunday and the trip took 9 hours because of the delays.).

The best thing that I like in Norwegian hotels is its cleanliness.
Anyway, I’m satisfied with my stay at Best Western Bondeheimen. Great hotel and affordable. 🙂
Whenever my friends ask me what I want for Christmas, I tell them I don’t know yet, give them 2-3 items in my list (cos I can’t recall all I wrote down) or simply anything. I find it hard to tell them what I want because I don’t want them to stress out just to get me gifts. Then it occured to me, damn I’m doing the same too!
So here you go guys, my wishlist for 2012 🙂
- Electric blanket (varmeteppet)
- Crime books
- chess set
- any kinds of gadgets
- “hotdog” pillow
- Need for speed wanted for xbox360 or pc
- squash racket
Hmm.. It didn’t turn out well 😛 Oh well, at least I can draw right? 🙂
Was at Lefdal today to buy a memory stick for my mom and I found a life size statue of Connor, the main character from the famous game Assassin’s Creed III! 🙂 I think I’m in love. 🙂
One thing that interests me these past few days is tilt-shift photography and since I don’t have a tilt shift lens, I downloaded the trial version of Sony Movie Studio Platinum 10.0 and watched a tutorial on Youtube. However, I didn’t get it right. I had problems with copying and duplicating layers. Of course I didn’t give up but in the end I only got frustrated so I had to stop before I burst. But then I found a tilt shift app (TiltShiftMaker) on the internet while I was browsing for tilt-shift sample pictures.
Here’s a shot I took from my smart phone a month ago.
And here’s the pic after using TiltShiftMaker.
I got the result I want for now but I’m still frustrated for not getting the manual method right. Oh well, I can try again tomorrow or the day after tomorrow… I ain’t giving up. 🙂
