When you tell some people that you’re using compression socks, only one thing comes into their mind and that is compression socks/stockings is for old people. We cannot blame them for thinking that way, because compression socks aren’t that popular for the younger folks. Also, people think that if they don’t have anything in their legs that are bothering them, then they won’t use one. It could also mean that they don’t know what compression socks are.
Compression socks/stockings are very similar to the socks/stockings that we use every day. The only difference is that compression socks are tighter to put pressure on the ankles, legs and feet in order to have a smoother blood circulation.
There are different types of compression socks/stockings based on your needs. Your doctor or any other medical personel can help you decide which one is best for you (or for your medical condition). My reason for using compression socks is I always on my feet at work and at home (because I cannot sit still!), and thus resulted in the appearance of varicose veins!
I’m just in my 30s, so the sight of varicose veins, frustrates me. But then I remembered that my mom uses compression stockings every day and guess what? She has never stopped using one since when she her 30s! And her legs? Varicose vein free! She’s now in her 50s.
I bought 6 pairs of compression socks/stockings different styles, length and purpose. I didn’t consult a doctor because I only ordered the ones that are good for daily use and I don’t have diabetes and high blood pressure. I’ve also read on the website that it’s alright to buy one with the least compression.
As I’ve mentioned above, compression socks come in different styles. Now you can be both stylish and maintain a healthy blood circulation.
Btw., I bought mine from this site: https://stottestrompen.no/ . But you can also find this socks too on other online shops like Ebay or Amazon.
