I can already play the guitar! Oh yes! Another achievement for me. After years of trying I’ve finally learned how to play the basics. The key to learning how to play the guitar in my opinion is finding a song that you like and then finding an easy chord online. Also, learning a new music instrument should not be a chore rather a hobby.

I think the reason why I failed before is I compared the piano keys to the strings. I mean, I tried to “piano” the guitar. So my fingers were so instilled to the piano keys that I viewed the guitar strings as not logical. This time however, I let go of my piano knowledged and just concentrated on the guitar.

I’m not really good yet, but I can now play a couple of chords now.

Anyway, I recorded one of my favorite (easy) chords. Still shaky though. 😛
