New Year. New Hobby?

Hi everyone! Happy New Year! I hope you guys had a wonderful Christmas celebration and a wonderful New Year 2024 with family and/or friends. I had a great yuletide celebration with family last year. I also worked on the weekend of New Year’s Eve and it was okay despite the long shifts. The most important thing is that I got to celebrate NYE with the family.

So, one of the gifts that I got last year is a sewing machine. This is actually a big surprise because I’ve never asked for one but this is indeed a very wise gift since I could use it to repair our clothes and sew a dress for my little one. Also, maybe I could start a new hobby this year? The idea excites me but at the same time stresses me because I’ve never operated a sewing machine before. However, I’m positive to learning to new skills so I’m going to learn this. If I can operate an X-ray machine and a CT-scan machine, then I can also operate this one! Right? 😉

This sewing machine is for beginners like me. I love how cute and portable it is!

Speaking of operating the machine, I found the instruction manual a bit complicated to understand. I think it’s because I need explanations to how and why things work that way. 😛 haha! I’m not giving up though because I’m really looking forward to learning a new usefull skill this year.
