Welcome to the Christian World Baby E!

It’s been 2 years now since I last stepped on a Catholic church’s ground. If not for the baptism of my friend’s daughter, I wouldn’t be here. The number one reason for not coming here is that I don’t practice the Catholic faith anymore. I’m a converted Protestant by heart now for some personal reasons, nevertheless I still respect the Catholic church. And besides I do believe that we all have the same God.
Anyway, the baptism was held at St. Svithun Catholic Church in Stavanger at 3pm last Saturday.
The cosy little chapel.
Father giving baby E the blessing. Welcome to the Christian world baby!! 🙂

After the ceremony, we headed off to my friend’s apartment for the reception. Too bad I forgot to take pictures of Mrs Ø’s homemade Filipino spring rolls and pancit.

Mmm… Calorie bombs! I really liked ’em!

The girliest cake I’ve ever seen in my life! It tasted good too. 🙂

Thank you Mr and Mrs Ø for inviting me to your daughter’s special event.
Till next time! 🙂
