Appreciate Serenity

Two days ago, I got a task from mom. It is to take a walk along the shore or the quay to feed the swans. She said she saw five swans from our terrace. My mom loves birds, so she feed those out in the wild/nature (in nearby areas) whenever she has the time. She hangs pieces of bread in the pear tree in our garden so that birds have something to eat. Small birds, pigeons, crows and seagulls are her usual costumers. Swans too but you know they’re shy and they’re big so mom goes to them and feed them directly by the shore.

I only found two of them (The others probably flew to the nearby city.) and I got like a big bag of bread crumbs with me.

Don’t worry I didn’t overfeed them.

After feeding time, I watched them go. Then it came to me how important it is to appreciate this peaceful moment and this life. I don’t know if you feel the same as I do, but I have a not so good feeling about the things that are happening in the world right now. But I’m not losing hope. I know there’s hope for everything.
