The Feast of the Ascension of Jesus Christ was not an excuse to just sit still and get rotten in the sofa just because it’s a holiday. It’s actually a perfect day to explore and spend time with family. Well, in my case I can’t sit still. It’s impossible when you have a little kid! Anyway, another new nature spot has been explored. This time a pond at Myking. It’s just an hour drive from Bergen. I didn’t find it by chance because I searched for places to see near my place.

Austavatnet is a pond with lots to offer. You can either take your boat here, go fishing, go for a walk in the woods or just enjoy the view while eating your favorite snacks.
