A Colorful Mess

I’m sharing some of my 6 year old’s obra maestra. The living room might be “messy” when she’s in her creative bubble and I might have been a bit of a cranky mom because of the mess, but I’m glad that she’s enjoying painting and doing what she loves.

She can use almost anything as her canvas and I just let her.

Then there are times when she doesn’t know what to call her art, so I ask her why did she draw/paint it and she answers she just paint whatever she feels.

There are also times when I suggest some names to her masterpiece. Meet Chip the bird. 🐦

Her favorite theme to draw is the rainbow. How do I know? She draws it everyday! 🙂
