A Cosy Saturday Evening

After a long day at work, my friend and I drove to Ikea. She wanted to buy a broom while I was looking for storage boxes and teapots. But before shopping we had some pizzas and sausages. After that we started looking for the things that are on our shopping list.

Guess what. We ended up buying stuff that aren’t on the list! We’re not surprised! Ikea made us do it! Kidding! Seriously, Ikea is good in selling their stuff. So once you get inside, prepare for the battle of your will against Ikea’s magic.

Moving on. Since it’s Saturday I didn’t need to drive home early so I stayed at Kristine’s place til 10 p.m. We talked about about almost everything while enjoying fresh brewed Sencha tea in a teapot from Japan.

I absolutely fell in love with the Japanese teapot set. I’m getting one too! She bought this set during her visit to Japan last year.

Anyway, before I forget this post is my take in this week’s The Daily Post photo challenge. Symbol. For me a cup/pot of tea symbolizes warmt and hospitality.
