The Punishment

I was 15 minutes late at the gym yesterday and because of the that my personal trainer “punished” me. Instead of the regular exercises, I had to do a very effective workout program in just max 35 minutes because my PT had an appointment afterwards. So, I had a high intensity workout that is also crossfit. It’s been a while since I had a similar workout so I got a bit nervous. The good thing is that my PT is very nice eventhough she’s being bossy. But that’s the point of a personal trainer- they push you to your limits.

Here’s the “punishment” training program:

Ropes 4 sets x 20 seconds

Weight lift 4 sets x 10 reps each side

TRX resistant rope with squats and jump 4 sets x 12 reps

Squats with 10 kg weight 4 sets x 15 reps

Kettlebell swing 10kg 4 sets × 12 reps

Leg ups 4 sets × 12 reps.

The ropes of hell! Seem inocent but these are heavy!

In the end I almost collapsed. The pulse was really high and I had shortness of breath. But I felt great at the same time. This is an achievement! I finished the program!
